Dear everybody,
First of all, I’d like to say thanks for all your cool comments on my blog. Everyone says such neat and sweet stuff…it really makes a pup feel good – especially when he needs it. I’m not that much different than everybody else. I have days that I feel great and I have days where having wobbly legs gets me a little down. I want to run and play and jump and stay out all day, but I have to take breaks to rest my legs. All of your comments and support really make a difference, so thanks bunches and keep’m comin.
One thing I’ve noticed in my blog comments is that people like to ask me questions. They ask me what my favorite treat is, what I dream about, and what I like to do for fun. Well, one thing I like in particular is my favorite TV show – Jeopardy! Yup – I love the music that plays when people are thinking. I go right up to the TV real close – so close that everything is out of focus and I try to see the music. So far, I haven’t seen it, but I’m going to keep trying.
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to play Jeopardy with you! So here is the answer, you try to guess, and then watch the video to learn the right question – Jeopardy-style! Fun, huh? Hee Hee
Answer: My new favorite toy.
Question: What is a…
Did you get it right? Did you hear music when you were thinking? Ok guys – I’ll catch up with you later, it’s almost time for…can you guess what it’s almost time for? DINNER!
See you next time!
Love, Reggie Trebek

How old are you now Reggie? Are you almost old enough for your operation?
Reggie…I think your one little cutie! Tell your human Mom and Dad that they can buy a button at Hallmark that plays the Jeapardy ‘thinking’ music!
I think you favorite toy is a ball. I have a jack russell that looks almost like you. He is never without his ball. It is always in his mouth, and he will run from you if you try to get it. I hope you’ll be able to run away from any one that is trying to get your pretty. Love & good wishes
Oh sweet Reggie, you are getting to be such a big boy. When you first came to NSAL, I sent a bit of money to go towards
NSAL. I know the money goes to the League and not one particular individual. We don’t have alot of $ but I like to send some every year. You take good care and you are going to be right as rain very soon.
Love from a Canadian Family in B.C.
best of luck to you my little friend. I followed in my mother’s foot steps to be a sponser for the NSAL. And I have been many years now. Hang in there you lucky pup.. we all love you
Reggie:
You are growing “like a weed.” You are such a big boy now!
You are also getting more handsome as you grow..I love that
“head shot” to introduce your video.
I pray that you will get better and better each day and that when you are ready to be adopted you will find a loving family. In the meantime I continue to enjoy your blog.
Reggie, you are so handsome and have gotten so big!! I love reading your blog. I pray your surgery goes well and you will soon find your happy home!!
Hi Reggie:
You are a very handsome. When you are ready for adoption, whoever adopts you will be extremely lucky indeed. Hope to see you getting better and better every day and that you have a long, happy and healthy life in your forever home when the time comes.
Reggie..You are getting to be so handsome. God bless you and all the people who have loved and supported you. Keep those blogs coming and enjoy your new toy.
Love, Dolores
PS.My Corky, who came from NorthShore, sure would love to play with you!
Hi Reggie,
You are so cute. I get your emails when I’m at work and you always make my day better and make me smile. I’m glad your feeling better. Can’t wait to read more about you!
Love Nicole
Reggie you have become quite a ham! Just like my boy Bennie Jet that we adopted a little over a year ago from The Humane Society here in Austin, Texas. Bennie is a 13# cat who was a stray and spent time in 2 shelters but when he and I saw each other we knew. And when he saw his own bedroom and food bowls and cat beds and a climbing structure right by the window he knew he was going to love his forever home. He loves to play with balls and I think he would love to have a playdate with you Reggie. Reggie you too will find a home and live in the lap of luxery just like my Bennie Jet is. Take care. XO
Hey Reggie
I’m sorry I don’t have any money to give you for your surgery but I’ll be praying for you and all your brothers and sisters, my dog BB came from North Shore too, his sister came from a shelter in Arkansas. Good luck and god bless all the people who are helping take care of you they’re doing a great job
Reggie … I can’t believe that it’s been a year … you’ve grown up into a handsome young boy. I am praying for you and wishing you luck with the first of your two surgeries … and enjoy that toy.
Love,
Kim
Dear Sweet Reggie…
I am so glad to know you are doing well and that you will be soon having surgery to help you get all strong. I know you are afraid and I can tell you, I had to have surgery awhile ago and I was afraid too. But like me, I’ll bet you have a doctor who knows just what to do! It may be a little hard after the surgery, but you are such a brave guy and there are so many people out there who love you and wish you well. I know I do!! My cat Pugsley and I will be saying prayers for you. Love, Toni and Pugsley
Reggie: you are getting so big - i donate to help me heal every so often for dogs and cats like you. My cat Rook sends his best and hopes your operation goes smoothly. I never have lots to give, but we figure every little bit helps. Rook is a rescue cat, so he knows what its like to want a home. So we will send a few more dollars your way and wish for the best.
take care; enjoy your toys!
Reggie Trebek - That’s a good one Reggie! Hey Lil’ Dude, you’ve already come so far and you’ve done it in style! I am confident you will do just fine this time too! Before long Reggie, you’ll be out running the big dogs!!
We all wish you the best,
Katie, Freckles & Bear
