Hi everybody,
Boy oh boy – life sure is fun. The weather is getting warmer here where I live and the grass is getting greener…and you know what that means – GRASS WIGGLES!
I was just telling Nibble that there’s nothing like a good wiggle in the grass to get all those good hard-to-reach itches. Ahh, I love it. I wiggle, Nibble by my side, and my ears flopping around. What more could a young doggie want? Speaking of my ears…know what? My ears grew! My ears are big and floppy and I love to feel them flapping around.
So, the other day, I was wiggling and flapping in the grass. The sun felt warm and bright and I couldn’t help myself, I just fell asleep with my legs up in the air and open – soooo comfortable. I was so relaxed that I started to dream. I was dreaming that I was in a big open green field. The grass was kinda high. I could see over it, but just barely. In the dream, I was running and jumping. It was so much fun. I was hopping up and down and loving my ears flapping against me. And then I saw it…a bunny. Normally, when I see a bunny, I know I can’t catch it cause my legs are still a little wobbly. But I must’ve known I was dreaming ‘cause I just started running and running – bam! I chased that fuzzy little critter all over.
You won’t believe what happened next! The bunny stopped, turned around and looked at me. There we were – just inches apart. I have to admit, the bunny was awfully cute. I kind of felt bad for chasing him – he was so little and furry and he had big, brown eyes that were so sweet. The bunny hopped closer to me. THEN… the weirdest thing happened. The bunny pulled a blade of grass out of the ground and started tickling my tummy with it! Tickle tickle, tickle tickle. It felt so fun and happy, I fell over on my back laughing as he continued to tickle my belly.
Then I woke up! When I opened my eyes, my foster momma was standing above me tickling my belly! I was wiggling and squirming in the grass – it felt so good.
Ahhh, I sure do love grass wiggles. See you next time!

My goodness Reggie, you have grown so much. You are so adorable. I’d love to come see you and play with you and hug and kiss you but I live so very far away. I do keep in touch through this website and check up on you. I’m so happy you are doing much better. I hope your legs will be good as new real soon. I wish you the best Reggie. You so deserve a happy, long, lovable life.

Hi Reggie, my housemates and I like to wiggle on our backs in the lawn too. Mom and Dad like to call it, “making grass angels”. Isn’t the warm weather great? Love, Titus, Sydney and Spike
Oh Reggie you are really growing into a handsome little guy!Wish you could meet Corky..my little Corgi Mix who I adopted from Northshore on May 2nd. You two guys would really have alot of fund running and playing!
Corky looks like a German Shepherd pup..his is 1 and a half years old! We love him so very much.

Hi Reggie! Glad to hear your legs is feelin better an ya know what? My knees is feelin better too! My doc said I had ta loose a widdle bitta weight an I did an he waz rite! I am able to run an even jump now sometimes really high! I play wit my “sisfur” her name is Peaches an sheze jus a widdle kiddy cat an we has lots a fun! You shood see if maybe you wood likes to play wid a putty cat too! They ken make best buds for sure!I like ta hear from you so let us no how you is doin! Your Friend, Bruno woof!
Hi Reggie…..I’m a Golden Retriever who likes to roll on my back in the grass too! My Mom is helping me type this and reads me your blog. I had a loose kneecap when I was just a little puppy, but I grew up to be strong and fast. I am happy that the good people at NSAL have found you a good foster home and I hope you will find your forever family soon.
Oh, the grass wiggles…My little dog, Howie, sure enjoyed your story. He loves the grass wiggles too! This is the first time we’ve read about you. Can’t wait to read the next story you have to tell.
