all in the family

Hey everyone. My name is Reggie, and I’m a baby dog. You may know me already. Did you read my story? I was born at North Shore Animal League America with my brothers and sisters and mama. But now that I’m old enough to be without my doggie mama, I live on my own – with my new human mommy!! Ha ha. And you’re not gonna believe this – but I have two new adoptive doggie brothers and two new adoptive doggie sisters too! You may remember them – they are four Chihuahuas and all of them are missing their front legs. They’re kinda famous – their names are Carmen, Venus, Pablo and Scooter. Since I have problems with my back legs, my new mommy decided to take me home. She said that her home is already set up nice and soft and cushioned, so what’s one more doggie in the mix, right?

The Animal League told me that lots of people liked my story. So we thought I should write a little blog to let people know how I’m doing. So here I am!! Bingo, bango, bongo – my blog! I’m going to call it, “Reggie’s Blog: The View From Down Here” since I’m so tiny. Hee hee.

You know, I’m really happy in my new home. My brothers and sisters accepted me right away and we play all day and then take naps and eat snacks. It’s a really cool life, and I have you and the Animal League to thank for it. So if you’re interested, stay tuned to my blog and we can be friends! **Yawwwwwwn** Wow, that first entry made me pooped. I think it’s time to take a nap now. I’m going to see if anyone wants to take a cuddle-nap. I’ll talk to ya later!

Love, Reggie

Ok, I am addicted to Reggie. Cutest little Beagle ever. Here’s to Reggie having a success surgery, and going to a family as soon as possible. Now, keep the blog posts coming Reggie. ;-)

  2. We remember those 4 Chihuahuas. How great you have not only met them but you’re living with them. And we know you’re in a good place too, with someone who really loves dogs!

Oh, how I love to read your stories. I thought and thought
how I could bring the Chihuahas home and you too, little
one. These stories don’t leave my mind and I tell every-
one I can think of about this organization. I have 4 fostered and adopted ’special’ kids here and they’re so
worth the effort. They give much more than I do.
Thank you and thank your mom.

Hi Reggie. I’ve been reading about you for a while now. I think of you every day and hope you are getting well. You are the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen. You have won my heart as well as all your other friends here. You take care sweetie. I love you so much!

I am wondering if I have one of Reggie’s brothers? We adopted our puppy at North Shore on March 19th and they said he was 8 weeks old. He looks just like Reggie! We named him Zeke. He is doing great.
